The Friary, a service of Lakeview Center, Inc is a center for the treatment of alcohol and drug dependencies and related problems. The Friary’s residential treatment center is located outside of Gulf Breeze, Florida, on beautiful Pensacola Bay. The site was once a retreat for retired Franciscan friars, and since 1977, the tranquil, serene setting has proven to be ideal for those beginning the recovery process.

In 1996, the Friary became a service of Lakeview Center, Inc., which is an affiliate of Baptist Health Care, a regional network of hospitals and other health care facilities.
