Responding to Community Needs Through Cooperative Initiatives
Baptist Health Care recognizes that meeting the broader health
care needs of communities served can be best achieved
through cooperative initiatives that involve a variety of health
care stakeholders. Baptist supports community-wide programs
through leadership and fiscal resource allocation. In 2007,
Baptist Hospital, Inc. allocated $625,000 to the Escambia and
Santa Rosa community clinics.
In addition, Baptist provided WE CARE, a program geared
toward improving health care access in Escambia and Santa
Rosa counties, with $873,448 in inpatient services and $594,372
in outpatient services.
