Meet The Doctor — Please join us each month at 6:30 p.m., to meet a bariatric surgeon. This forum provides straightforward information for anyone interested in weight-loss surgery or other non-surgical treatment options for morbid obesity. You will have an opportunity to learn about various weight loss procedures, including benefits and possible complications. Also, you will have the opportunity to learn about the comprehensive Bariatric services at Baptist Hospital.

This forum is highly recommended and encouraged for those scheduled for surgery or just simply seeking information about our Bariatric services. Call Baptist Direct Access to register at (850) 469-7500, option #3.

Bariatric Support Group — A support group for those contemplating weight loss surgery; those who have had weight loss surgery, and any interested family members or friends. Gastric Bypass and LapBand surgery procedures will both be covered. Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Medical Meeting Rooms in the Baptist Medical Towers. Family members are encouraged to attend. There is no charge for this forum and reservations are not required.
