Baptist Health Care Wound Center

Patients with diabetes or multiple medical problems often find that minor cuts and sores become major wounds that resist healing with routine care. The goal of the Wound Center is to heal wounds as quickly as possible, avoiding possible loss of tissue and the need for hospitalization.

The physicians, nurses and therapists at the Wound Center at Baptist Medical Park - Nine Mile offer specialized care for non-healing wounds. At the Center, your wound may be treated with specialized wound care, infusion or hyperbaric oxygen therapy, or with a combination of these advance therapies.

"I've never had better care from people who care more. For two months, I've had a jagged cut on my shin from a fall, and within the first week of treatment at the Wound Center I started seeing a difference."
-- Myrtle Lea Cleveland, Wound Center patient

The Wound Center staff includes specially trained wound care nurses, physical therapists and respiratory therapists. Your primary care physician can follow you in the Wound Center with our clinicians or your primary physician may consult one of our Wound Center physicians.

The Wound Center at Baptist Hospital is located in the Baptist Medical Towers, Ground Floor of Tower Three; 1717 North "E" Street, Pensacola, Florida (850) 434-4479
