Interventional Cardiologist, Dr. Luther Carter is an experienced, board-certified cardiologist with expertise in advanced coronary intervention, structural heart disease and valvular heart disease. Dr. Carter recently completed serving in the military at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, CA, where he was the director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
In September 2010, Dr. Carter performed the first minimally invasive Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) closure procedure at Baptist Hospital, repairing a hole in a patient's heart and leaving only a needlestick mark.

Dr. Tom Patton is a caring and compassionate physician specializing in gynecologic oncology, a field of medicine that focuses on cancers of the female reproductive system. Dr. Patton specializes in treating all cancers of the female reproductive system including ovarian cancer, uterine cancer, endometrial cancer and cervical cancer.
He also provides general gynecologic care at his Atmore office location. Currently, Dr. Patton serves in the Naval Reserves as a Navy Flight Surgeon, after completing three tours of duty in Iraq and Kuwait. He is currently accepting new patients.
